The table provides form figures (last 4 outings, oldest first), the CURRENT KWIKFORM RATING, the best rating achieved in the last 2 outings, together with details of distance/going over which the horses’ best rating has been achieved. The date on which the current rating was achieved is also provided (DOCR) to indicate how recent the form is.
When assessing a forthcoming FLAT race, deduct 1 point from the current form rating for every 1lb carried above 10st.
Similarly add 1 point to the current from rating for every 1lb carried below 10st.
For example, for a horse carrying 9st 4lbs in a race, add 10 points (lbs) to the current rating.
The horses with the highest weight adjusted ratings should be given further consideration.
No adjustments are required for Weight For Age – the ratings are already adjusted to take account of this.
